Highest pregnancy rates in UK – Official

CRM London and a handful of other clinics have been statistically proven to have pregnancy rates which are significantly higher than the national average results. For the first time the HFEA has compared the results of all IVF clinics in the UK using an established statistical technique called “funnel plot”. This showed that there is a 99.8% probability that the reason that CRM Londons results are higher than the national average is not just due to chance but there is a specific reason. Some of the clinics with high pregnacy results have a policy of requiring patients to have hormone levels in a certain range before offering them treatment. This selection of patients improves the results of these other clinics but we do not feel this is an appropriate way to help couples. At CRM London we will treat patients irrespective of their hormone results if that is what they wish after appropriate discussion with their fertility specialist.
