Are there any risks to IVF treatment?
Minor side effects relating to the drug treatment may occur and are always reversible when the treatment finishes. These effects include hot flushes at the start of treatment, breast tenderness and an abdominal bloated sensation towards the later stages of the drug therapy. Some women also experience nausea, headaches or mood disturbances. In general, these side effects are not sufficiently severe to interfere with your domestic or professional life but please do not hesitate to discuss any concerns you may have.
