CRM London results amongst highest in UK - (HFEA data)
New data released in November 2010 by the HFEA analyses, for the first time, the pregnancy results of all IVF clinics in the UK in a statistically meaniingful way.Although this graph looks a little complicated the blue horizontal line at 30% shows the average IVF results of all UK clinics and the dotted yellow and red lines shows the variation in results around this average. Only a handful of clinics (including CRM London) are above the dotted red line. This means that these clinics' results are statistically better than the UK national average result and, importantly, there are only 2 chances in a thousand that this result is just due to chance or random variation. In other words there is almost certainly a cause why these clinics results are better.
For some of the high performing clinics, the cause is that they select patients to treat (by refusing to treat patients with poor hormonal profiles for example). However CRM London does not select patients to treat on the basis of them being likely to respond well and we will happily treat patients even if they have a low chance of pregnancy if they so wish (after they have been appropriately advised of their own chances).
