What are the advantages?

Assisted hatching is now carried out at IVF Centres throughout the world. Controlled studies performed over the past 10 years have shown that the pregnancy rates may increase in a selected group of patients fitting the criteria mentioned above. There is no evidence to suggest that the use of assisted hatching will decrease your chances of becoming pregnant. Not everyone believes assisted hatching to be helpful and some groups have found no benefit in their own patients.
